(NEXSTAR) – Former head coach Ron Rivera knows a thing or two about winning in the NFL. Between his experience as head coach and his Super Bowl XX victory as a player on the Chicago Bears, Rivera is well qualified to talk about the keys to a Lombardi Trophy. "I think it's a terrific matchup between the quarterbacks. But more importantly, though, I think it's going to be a terrific matchup between offensive line and defensive line, because to me, that's really where it's going to come down to," River told Nexstar Thursday. "If you look at what Seattle has done defensively, they're the number four in the league on quarterback pressures, but they're like on the back end of blitzing." With Seattle's heavy pressure on the quarterback without blitzing, Maye could be forced to fit the football into tight coverage in a hurry, Rivera said. If the Pats offensive line can stand up the Seahawks rushers, however, Rivera believes Maye will be able to move the ball downfield like he's done all year. Rivera, who held the head coaching job in North Carolina and Washington D.C. for over a combined two decades, says it's still fun to analyze the games as they happen and think "this is how they should be playing it." "It is a lot of fun to kind of be that guy that's always trying to figure it out, because it keeps me engaged," Rivera said.
